The ski arena Nassfeld, Hermagor-Kärnten lies in south-western Carinthia on the Austrian-Italian border, and it will come as no surprise that, with 30 state of the art cable cars and lifts and over 100 km of slopes catering to all levels of expertise, it enjoys a reputation as one of the largest, most attractive and snowy ski areas in Austria.
Over 100 perfectly groomed km of permanently snowy, avalanche-free slopes (all levels of difficulty) – every day! The resort is also home to Europe’s longest flood-lit slopes. From the beginner slopes to the World Cup slopes - you’ll find it all on a single mountain!
There’s also a lot on offer in the way of snowboarding! Nassfeld hosted the FIS Junior Snowboarding World Championships in 2001 and the FIS Snowboarding World Cup for boarder cross has taken place here.
Nature certainly comes up trumps up in Nassfeld - guests can look forward to 850 hours of sun in the winter season, around 100 hours more than in the northern Alps.
A leisure paradise: fun and action are complemented by numerous winter hiking trails, cross-country routes, giant natural ice surfaces and illuminated toboggan runs, curling and sleigh rides…
