Meanwhile, dozens of alpine cabins and mountain refuges offer walkers and climbers the opportunity to linger awhile and to embark on greater adventures. Mountain bikers have ample scope to explore the mountains,
while visitors can also enjoy the almost completely asphalted Möll Valley cycle path (80 Km), swim in the pond at our leisure centre or participate in a wealth of other summer sports activities (rafting, canyoning, paintballing, kayaking, climbing, etc.).

Rangersdorf is also a perfect base for wonderful half- or full-day excursions by bus or car and nearby attractions include the Großglockner mountain (20 min.), the Möll Valley glacier (20 min) and the Wörthersee (50 min.), Ossiachersee (50 min.) and Millstättersee (35 min.) lakes. Venice (3.5 hours), South Tyrol and Slovenia are always worth a visit, and there are plenty of friendly and knowledgeable locals happy to provide advice.
